Howard M. Haft, M.D. graduated from medical school at Pennsylvania State University in 1974. He completed his residency at Roger Williams Hospital at Brown University in 1977. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine and Family Medicine at Georgetown University School of Medicine. Dr. Haft’s special interests are in community healthcare improvements and in healthcare management. He is an accomplished sailor, surfer, and motorcyclist and his office is in Waldorf, Maryland.

Robert L. Davison, Jr., M.D. graduated from Boston University School of Medicine 1980. He completed his residency at Howard University Hospital in 1990 and has a strong interest in Intensive Care. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Georgetown University School of Medicine. Doctor Davison is a horse owner who is active in harness racing in Maryland. Doctor Davison’s office is in Waldorf, Maryland.

Monika G. Lee, M.D. graduated from medical school at the University of Miami in 1989. She is Board Certified in Family Practice. William J. Oetgen, M.D. graduated cum laude from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in 1973. He completed residency and fellowship training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in 1980. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. He is an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at Georgetown University School of Medicine. Doctor Oetgen is an instructor pilot in airplanes and helicopters. His primary office is in Clinton, Maryland ; however, he sees cardiac patients at the Waldorf and Fort Washington offices on a weekly basis.

Arnel Castrence, M.D. received his medical degree from the University of Maryland in 1995 and completed his residency in 1998 at Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia. Mary M. Hoke, P.A.-C. received her Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from Loyola College in 1972 and her Bachelor of Science degree in the Physician Assistant program at George Washington University in 1995. Mary is a Physician Assistant in the Maryland HealthCare Associates office in Waldorf Maryland. She enjoys needlework, walking, and traveling, and she resides in LaPlata, Maryland.

Catherine L. Heilig, C.R.N.P. graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1986. She received her Master of Science in Nursing and her Nurse Practitioner Certificate from Old Dominion University in 1995. Cathy runs the diabetes education program at the Maryland HealthCare Associates office in Waldorf, Maryland. Cathy’s interests include collecting trains, traveling, and outdoor sports. She lives with her husband and two children in Prince Frederick, Maryland.

Carol Wright, CDE became licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in 1965. She became a Certified Diabetes Educator in 1996.

Fatima Hussien, M.D. graduated from Howard University in 1997. She completed her residency at George Washington University in 2000.

Richard Bransdorf, M.D. graduated from the George Washington University of Medicine in 1992. He completed his residency at David Grant Medical Center located on Travis Air Force Base in California. Dr. Bransdorf is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

James C. Boyd, M.D. received his medical degree from George Washington University in 1974 and completed his residency at the University of Maryland in 1977. A life-long resident of St. Mary’s County, Doctor Boyd has a passion for 17th and 18th century American history, and he is currently restoring a historic site, Ocean Hall, in Saint Mary’s County. Doctor Boyd’s office is in California, Maryland.

Carol Miller, CRNP received her masters nursing degree from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. in 1995 and has a Family Nurse Practioner Certificate. She also received specialized training in cardiovascular diseases. She sees both children and adults. She is a volunteer paramedic in Charles County. Ms. Miller enjoys hiking, biking, and roller blading.
